Queen Esther recognized her crucial role and saw the salvation of her people as a result. (Esther 4:14) She called for three days of prayer and fasting before appealing to her husband, the king.
Purpose of these 30 days of prayer:
To join together in fervent prayer as we ask for God's mercy on our nation, praying for His Kingdom to come, and His will to be done in our nation.
Please make these three commitments beginning September 1st:
- 30 minutes of prayer daily for 30 days
- 3 days of fasting within the week (one meal for each day of fasting)
Urgent Requests—Pray as you feel led regarding these issues:
- For healing and unity within our nation—a spirit of repentance and revival.
- Pray for the leaders and those who serve in our military.
- Pray for wisdom and discernment as people navigate the trials related to the COVID pandemic.
- As the school year begins, pray for protection of our freedom to homeschool our children or enroll them in Christian schools and for our families involved in public schools.
- Pray for a Biblical Worldview to govern any legislation or policies made by our leaders.
"... Be strong in the Lord... for our struggle is not against flesh and blood ...but against ...powers of this dark world...And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers...be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people" Ephesians 6:10-18
