“Mercy is a command of God, yet it cannot simply be a response to a demand. It must arise out of hearts made generous and gracious by an understanding and experience of God’s mercy…The hearts of the congregation…must be melted until they ask, ‘Where is my neighbor?’ ” - Tim Keller
Once a year we take up a special offering at CCC. Every dollar of this offering is distributed in Jesus’ name to those in our local area who have physical/material needs. More than a handout, we evaluate each request to assure that it helps someone rather than simply creating an unhealthy dependency.
In the generous spirit of Christmas, please consider a special gift this year during the 6pm Christmas Eve Service.
