Men, be honest. How many of you skim over Leviticus in your Bible reading (or skip over it all together)? It is true that the level of detail and minutiae are exhaustive in a book like this. However, such detail serves to teach us some absolutely crucial lessons about approaching God’s presence in worship. Leviticus guides us through the processes of making atonement, spiritual cleansing, consecration unto God, and joyful fellowship with him. All of this takes place through the systems of sacrifice, priesthood, and sacred space and time, which taken together ultimately point us forward to Jesus Christ and the new covenant.
All men are welcome to join us for this Bible study. Commitment: you’ll be asked to read about 5-6 chapters of Leviticus each week before we meet and be prepared to discuss.
If you need childcare, please sign up by December 22.
