Sundays at 9am (9:45am starting February 5).
Throughout the centuries, Christians have held to certain core tenets that flow from Scripture. In the early church and on through the time of the Protestant Reformation, these basic doctrines have been carefully articulated and codified in creeds, confessions, and statements of faith.
From the earliest days of the church, the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed have defined orthodox Christianity. This core discipleship course introduces some of the basic doctrines of Protestant Christianity that are summarized in these creeds and are supported by Scripture—basic doctrines that we think every believer should know!
In this course, we will provide you with some initial answers to the following questions: What is doctrine? Who is God? What is the Bible? Who is Christ? What did Christ achieve for us? What are the benefits of salvation? Who is the Holy Spirit? What is the Church? What about the future?
