Kids44 Ministry
An Overview
Our children's ministry is called Kids44, connecting it to our 4 Realities (Creation, Fall, Gospel, Restoration) and 4 Pursuits (Word, Spirit, People, Mission). Our conviction is that parents play the primary role of spiritual leaders to their children.
The role of Kids44 is to serve parents by providing a safe environment during our weekend worship services, not just to watch your children or to give them an enjoyable experience, but to come alongside you through supplemental teaching of God's Word.
To that end, every Kids44 class from nursery to elementary age contains an element of biblical or theological instruction. Our curriculum is Bible-saturated, God-centered, and Christ-exalting in its content and aims to help children grow in their understanding of the Gospel, living the Christian life, and passionate love for God. We encourage parents to engage in spiritual conversations with their children following their classes so you can carry on the discipleship process at home.
A Typical Weekend
DROP OFF
Before the worship service please check-in your child(ren), signs will point the way!
When you drop your child off, you will be checked into our electronic system and receive a printed tag that you need to present when you pick up your child. Each one of our volunteers has received a background check, been interviewed, and trained before they spend time in our children's area.
Nursery and Pre-School children will remain in their respective rooms for the duration of the service.
K - 5th Grade sit with their families during the first half of the main service. We believe this is an important time for parents to model sincere worship with their children. Before the sermon children are dismissed to head to their rooms where they receive an energetic and gospel-centered message from our children's leaders.
(You must go with your child to check them in if you did not do so before the service).
PICK UP
Children may be checked in or out any time during/after services but a parent or guardian must have a check out tag.
Be sure to ask your child what they learned when you pick them up. You may learn a few things about the Bible that you may not have known before!
